With Server Centric Computing Solution from ensur ict solutions you can roll out any software to any location from a central point in an instant.

A Server Centric Computing is a solution where applications are deployed, managed, supported and executed totally on the server. It is made possible by two Citrix technologies. Firstly, a multi-user operating system which enables users to log-on and run applications in separate sessions on a single server. The second is Citrix's Independent Computing Architecture, this separates an application's logic from its user interface so only key strokes, mouse movements and screen updates travel the network.

Thin Client Devices
  A thin-client is a desktop device, connected over a network to a central Windows NT server. Unlike a traditional PC with high-speed processors and data storage, these terminals are optimized to act solely as 'windows' to the server where users' applications and data reside. Instead of applications running on individual PCs, all applications are run from a single server, greatly simplifying the administration and support needed to run an IT department.


SOFTWARE

Citrix
  Citrix technology enables organizations to provide access to server-based applications from a wide variety of client devices and platforms. Since these applications are installed, updated and maintained on central servers instead of each client, the cost and complexity of administration are significantly reduced; the Citrix model also enables rapid application deployment. In addition, because the applications execute 100 percent on the server, and only keystrokes, mouse clicks and screen updates are transmitted over the network between the server and client, Citrix software enables high application performance even over bandwidth-constrained connections as well as greater data security.

Consultancy
  As part of the ensur ict solutions Consultancy methodology a 'Proof of Concept' will take place prior to the project start-up. The Proof of Concept allows for product and software testing in the organizations IT environment prior to implementation.
